Some links are affiliate links: accommodation (Agoda), light-activity tours in San José (Viator) and travel-kit items (Amazon; we are a participant in the Amazon Associates program), all on the Travel Planning page. If you book or buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. No clinic pays to appear here. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored".
Booking, payment, cancellation and customer service all happen on the partner platform. The partner sets prices, inclusions and terms, so always read the listing before you pay.
Commissions do not decide what we write. We link only to specific listings we checked were live, and we never invent prices, availability, ratings or reviews.
We count outbound clicks anonymously and in aggregate, to learn which guides are useful.
